Spring is the perfect time to linger over a long table of a delicious Italian inspired meal. This relaxed, casual evening will commence enjoying the early evening setting sun under the maple trees, the beauty of Towac Valley and the surrounding countryside. We will also be celebrating budburst in the vineyard, along with Orange Wine Festival. The evening will commence with Bubbles and canapes, followed by a delectable dinner served on long tables where we will savour the favours from Italian dishes created by Dave & Holly Wright, all complemented with Macquariedale Wines. Tom, Macquariedale’s Winemaker, will update us on V26 and the wines we can look forward to enjoying.
Neighbours Garden Wander

We are delighted to hold our Neighbours Garden Wander again this year on the private property of Helen and Geoff White, as well as Joy and Kerry Rawson. Both have magnificent gardens they have been extending and lovingly maintaining over several decades and are now enjoyed by many garden enthusiasts. The White’s began their garden in 1996 when they discovered a natural flat and spring in their bush acreage and have continued to add to its establishment each year. Today it is full of Azaleas, Rhododendrons, Japanese Maples and many other plants that thrive in Orange’s cool climate.
Come and wander the neighbours garden, then return to Macquariedale Organic Wines for a glass of wine and grazing platters as you relax and soak up the picturesque view of Towac Valley.
$10.00 of the ticket price will be donated to Canobolas Rural Fire Service.

We also celebrate the longest running regional food festival in Australia – Orange Food Week. From humble beginnings in 1991 it has grown to a nationally recognised culinary and wine delight.

Sunset Winter Solstice Celebration

Celebrating the winter solstice with grazing platters, a warming hearty meal, dessert, and a glass of wine on arrival. Further wine is available for purchase by the glass and bottle. This event will commence outside around the firepit (weather permitting) and move into The Barn warmed by the double-sided fireplace.

Learn about mushrooms from local expert Robbie Robinson as you wander Macquriedale’s property foraging for wild mushrooms followed by a light 2 course lunch including a glass of wine. Meet at Macquariedale Organic Wines and then venture off with Robbie to our pine forest at 1200m elevation. Appropriate footwear for a rough, uneven terrain is essential and warm clothing if the weather is cool. Lunch will include wild mushrooms prepared by Robbie’s Japanese partner, Nana, who will add an Asian flavour to the dishes.
