Wild Mushroom Forage

With 2 Course Light Lunch

Learn about mushrooms from local expert Robbie Robinson as you wander Macquriedale’s property foraging for wild mushrooms followed by a light 2 course lunch including a glass of wine. Meet at Macquariedale Organic Wines and then venture off with Robbie to our pine forest at 1200m elevation. Appropriate footwear for a rough, uneven terrain is essential and warm clothing if the weather is cool. Lunch will include wild mushrooms prepared by Robbie’s Japanese partner, Nana, who will add an Asian flavour to the dishes.

Meet The Winemaker Dinner

In Collaboration with Byng Street Boutique Hotel

We are delighted to be collaborating with Head Chef, Holly Wright, Byng Street Boutique Hotel and Head Wine Maker Tomm McDonald, along with owners of Macquariedale, Derice & Ross McDonald, for an evening of exceptional food and wine, showcasing local produce. The evening will begin with our Sparling Blanc de Blanc and oysters served on the terrace of Byng Street Hotel. A four-course delicious meal with matching Macquariedale’s wines will follow served in the beautiful Yallungah dining room. This is an evening not to be missed. Tickets are very limited.

30th Anniversary Luncheon

It is 30 years since we planted our first vineyard, which we believe is cause for celebration with a four-course lunch, wine, including cake by Cakes by Drew, of course, to finish with. We will share snippets of our 30-year journey and how our passion for sustainable farming has grown taking us from a warm climate, the Hunter Valley, to Orange providing cool climate conditions.

We are excited to have Christopher Pidcock, Cellist with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra since 2013, co-founder of Opus Now, and so much more, perform at this significant celebration.
And we are delighted to have local chefs Dave and Holly Wright who will take great care to provide us with a delicious, organic (where possible), local, and seasonal feast. Please advise of dietary requirements when booking.
Tickets will be limited to provide an intimate ambience.
We look forward to celebrating with you!

Garden Wander

This is our inaugural Neighbours Garden Wander on the private property of Helen and Geoff White. They began their garden in 1996 when they discovered a natural flat and spring in their bush acreage and have continued to add to its establishment each year. Today it is full of Azaleas, Rhododendrons, Japanese Maples and many other plants that thrive in Orange’s cool climate.
Come and wander the neighbours garden, then return to Macquariedale Organic Wines for a glass of wine and grazing platters as you relax and soak up the picturesque view of Towac Valley.

$10.00 of the ticket price will be donated to Canobolas Rural Fire Service.
